While the 8X has some drawbacks—only 16GB of storage, no notification center—it also has many advantages, including displaying social media updates on one screen and running legit Office programs. With the 8X, the hardware has finally arrived, and with Windows Phone 8, the software is finally closing the gaps. All it needs now is users. The 8X is a breath of fresh air for smartphone users.
After reading this review (and you should, too), I've come to the conclusion that I need another job so I can afford two phone plans, because I want this Windows Phone 8 phone very badly.
I sincerely hope more developers jump onboard and boost the platform's app library. Customers who aren't giving WP8 a second look are doing themselves a disservice.
